32 weeks and 5 days

Once again, the babies tried to come earlier than expected. On Friday (4/21), Lisa started having some contractions again in the early morning. As on Sunday she was told that taking the pills that try to stop the contractions could be done only when needed, she took a pill as soon as she experienced one. She had a couple contractions spaced about 5 minutes apart. Then we think the pill started helping, as there was a 25 minute gap until the next one. But since it didnt completely stop, we called the doctor. Of course, we ended up on our way into the hospital.
Again they hooked up the heart monitors and contraction monitor and gave Lisa a shot. After an hour of the first shot, there were still contractions. So they gave Lisa another shot and a pill at the same time. After a couple more hours, the contractions finally stopped. So now Lisa is to take the pills continuously at 4 hour intervals. They also ran a test for a protein that the babies would be making if they were getting closer to delivery. The idea is that if the protein is not present, then they assume the babies probably would not come in the next two weeks naturally even if Lisa had more contractions. Well, the protein was present. Now that does not mean they will come in the immediate future. The only significant result would have been if it was negative, then we wouldn't need to go in to the hospital each time Lisa has contractions. Since it was positive, we should continue to go back in if she has regular contractions.
So at this point, Lisa is taking the pills regularly and everything has been good since then. We both feel that if she does start contracting again anytime in the middle of next week or by next weekend that they may not try to stop it at that point.
Last night we started to try to re-organize the closet. Between the showers and clothing we bought ourselves, the closet was full and we still have some things we need to put away. So we are going through and making sure we have all of the different sizes seperated. Then we'll put the smaller sizes back in first. If we run out of room, we'll end up storing the bigger sizes somewhere else until we need them.
