Day 2

Mom is doing better today with different drugs, and was happy to be able to take a shower on her own.
We went over in the mid-morning and Mom was able to hold Lydia for the first time. Dad got to take the temperatures (underarm measurement) of all three, and change their diapers for the first time. Thankfully they were nice to daddy and didn't leave any big dirties this time. Then mommy got to feed Jonathan for the first time. All three are taking approximately 6 cc's of formula by bottle every three hours. (For reference, they said a teaspoon is approximately 5 cc's). Dad got to hold Anna.
In the early afternoon, several of Lisa's coworkers were able to stop up for a few minutes to visit with Lisa first. Then Jim took the guest over to see the kids. Visiting hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Only three people total are allowed to see the babies at any one time, and Mom or Dad must be one of those three.
Around 5 p.m. we both went back over. We decided to do
"Kangaroo Care" where the babies are skin-on-skin with Mom or Dad. Lisa took both of the girls, and Jim to the boy. We got to do that for about 40 minutes util Jim got to feed Anna while Lisa fed Lydia. Then Jim got to feed Jonathan. Lydia sucked hers right down. Anna kept forgetting to keep eating, and Jonathan ate most of his and quit just a few drops early.
