Doctors Visit and Fathers Day

The babies had a quick doctors visit on Saturday. This was only to get their 2nd round of Hepatitus shots. It probably took us three times as long to get them ready to go vs. how long the visit actually took. Jonathan was funny because the needle went in, the needle came out, and another second went by before the big, wailing cry. But all-in-all, none of them actually cried for more than a minute or two. Put them back in the car seats, and they were happy again. The next scheduled visit is July 11 for a full check-up and 4 shots each.
Tomorrow (tuesday) two people from the Childhood Early Intervention will be coming over to evaluate all of the babies. They will be looking to see how they respond to their environment, motor skills, etc. This is a free service in Pennsylvania. Depending on what they think about if they need further monitoring, the service will continue, free of charge, until they are 3 years old. Then if they'd need any more therapy, we would have to start paying for it. Basically all babies that are premies get accessed to determine if they are developing normally or if they are behind in any way.
Father's Day was good, but also exhausting. Because there was alot of yard work to be done, Daddy spent alot of time outside early in the day. The babies somehow managed to get out and shop to buy Daddy some Father's Day presents. They bought him a story book to read to them, a gift card for i-Tunes, a Ron White (comedian) DVD, and the really good non-parellis from the card shop. The cats even got Dad a funny card too.
