This weekend is Lisa's first weekend back at work, and Jim's first Friday working from home.

Well, the babies didnt want to cooperate with letting daddy work as effectively as he would have liked.  Although the expectation was already set that getting Friday's 8 hours of work might actually be spanned across Saturday and/or Sunday.  Hopefully this will change once they start stretching out their eating time, which is still stuck on eating every three hours.

Mommy works Fri, Sat, and Sun from 11 a.m. - 11 p.m.  So far the first day 1/2 of work seem to have went alright for her.  So that she can get some rest, Daddy takes care of both the overnight feedings and lets mommy sleep.  Mommy gets to help feed the babies for the approx. 8 or 9 a.m. feeding before she gets ready for work.  If they are in the midst of their approx. 11 p.m. feeding when mommy comes home, she helps then too.

Today Daddy signed up on a website to start receiving a quarterly newsletter from http://www.tripletconnection.org and ordered their New Parent packet to see if there are any helpful tips.  They also have a discussion forum where anyone that has signed up for the newsletter can post questions or comments about multiples.

Due to our new schedules, it looks like the next day that Mommy and Daddy will have together for the whole day will be July 4.  After that, it might be Labor Day!  Even though this schedule may not be the most fun for either one of us, it is the best way for us to ensure we can take care of the babies financially and medically (Mommy's health care is way better than Daddy's).  Once the babies get alittle older and their eating and sleeping times change, we can re-examine exactly how to do the schedule.
