Date Night

Mommy and Daddy finally got a chance to go out to a sit-down style restaraunt together for the first time since the day the babies were born.
Diane and Peggy volunteered to come over and let us have a night out. So on Tuesday, August 8, we took them up on the offer. We made sure plenty of formula was premade and they had all neccessary supplies readily available to last them for several hours.
Being that we only needed seating for two AND because Daddy rarely drives it, we decided to go out in the
Reatta. So we went to Outback for some good steaks for diner. Then we quickly blew through BJ's to pick up some supplies we needed. Next we headed over to the movie theater just in time to see
"The Descent". It was a good movie, but Lisa and I didnt quite understand the very end of it. Then was quickly blew through Wal-Mart for a couple other things we needed. Then we headed home to get back to reality.
Diane and Peggy did a wonderful job, and the babies didn't even stress them out. For whatever reason, though, they all decided to eat for Mommy and Daddy after Diane and Peggy left (and they were finishing feeding them when we walked in the door). But they just decided they were not completely satisfied. Anna decided to keep Daddy up until almost 2 a.m., all the while consuming about 8 oz. of formula before calling it a night (she normally is satisfied with 4 or 5 oz). Thankfully they did not want to eat again until 7 a.m.
