Sleeping alittle longer at night...

The babies are starting to sleep alittle longer through the night, now. Two nights ago they were fed at 10:30 p.m. and didn't wake up to eat again until 6:30 a.m. So that was an 8 hour stretch between feedings. Last night they went from 10:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m - 9 hours!!! That's a record for them so far.
They are also starting to track items with their eyes more, too. The Early Intervention lady said items that are black and white usually catch their attention first before other colored items. We have a round-shaped dog puppet that "barks" out "Old McDonald" and "London Bridge" that is black and white, and they do seem interested in him sometimes. We dug out another puppet we've had for some time that is a large bird. It has a bright orange beak and a black and white body. That also gets their attention. Lisa also found Jonathan to like this one rattle toy we have.
Tummy-time is something they all need to work on, though. Anna does the best, where she can push up her head and chest off the mat. Lydia get frustrated and does not do quite as good. And Jonathan does not always try! Maybe he thinks mommy and daddy will just carry him around for the rest of his life!
We're looking forward to Aunt Sue visting tomorrow. She had to come to York this week for work, and will stop by here before she heads back home.
