We took the babies to their first professional photo-shoot at "The Picture People" in the mall earlier this evening.  It was both fun and exhausting at the same time.

Lisa fed them starting at 4 p.m. so that when I came home a little after 5, we could pack them into the Explorer and head out for some fast-food before going to the mall.  They were scheduled for a 6:20 session, and we thought we could be headed back home by around 8.  Well, it didnt work out that way.  It just took longer than we really anticipated.

We did two seperate group-shot sessions.  One of them in pumpkin outfits for halloween, and another session in some nice outfits they have.  Anna, as always, was really smiley for the group photos.  Jonathan also had moments where he would get happy/smiley.  I think Jonathan will be a ladies-man, as it seemed like he was flirting with the camera girl.  Lydia didn't seem as happy about the whole group photo thing, but we still managed some small smiles or at least looks that we not quite so grumpy.

Then we did individual shots.  Suprisingly, Lydia got happier for her solo session.  The pictures turned out well.  Anna continued to be smiley, and Jonathan continued to flirt with the camera girl.

After the picture-taking was done, they said to hang around and come back in about 30-40 minutes as they would have 8x10 pictures of each shot.  Then we could choose from those which shots to get other prints made up.  Picking out the right shots and then deciding which sizes of prints to do took some time too.  At different times all of the babies started getting aggitated due to tiredness and hunger.  We ened up not leaving until after 9:00, but we left with the photos we wanted already printed out.

At some point, we will have access to all of the pictures they took via their website.   It sounds like we can let others look at those too, and probably anyone can order prints if they like a particular photo or three.

Well, as I'm not getting quite tired, its time for bed.  Hopefully I will add more of our own photos to this website over this weekend.
