Car and Cat frustrations

The babies are doing well. There isn't anything to report that is different from last week. They're just normal, happy, cute babies!
The car and cats on the other hand, are frustrating the heck out of us. In August the Grand Prix needed new wheel bearings and some other front-end work. Although they said the repairs were not required for the inspection, not fixing the problem would eventually lead to the front wheels wobbling. That would lead to wear problems with the tires. And given the tires are in decent shape, there was no question to get the repairs done before it would lead to needing new tires too. So then two weeks ago, the front-passenger window stopped working. So they put in a new relay and motor for that. Now this week, the car just died while I was on I-83. Thankfully no-one was right behind me. All of a sudden, the car just started slowing down. So I tried to give it more gas. What a weird feeling to be pressing down further on the gas pedal yet the car continues to slow down. So I got her off to the shoulder, and it shut off. When trying to restart it, it would run for two seconds before shutting down again. So I had to wait for a tow. Turns out there was a problem with the fuel pump. I just hope that is all the Grand Prix will need for awhile now. The car otherwise runs like a champ, and I like it. So I don't really want to get rid of it or anything like that.
Miss Harley seemed to be getting sick again earlier this week. She started hiding, and throwing up bile. But unlike the previous times, I noticed a small leaf in one of places she threw up. It seems she was trying to eat a small plant I keep on my desk. The vet. told me before that most plants that cats like to eat are actually bad for them. So we just threw out the plant, kept giving her the medicine she is on, and waited it out. After a day or two, she started acting normal again and she seems to be okay. That's good, because if she keeps having the problems she had a few months ago she may not be around much longer.
Fuzzy is just getting more annoying by the day. She will just stop where she is, and let out the most awful cry. She is not really in pain. I've already tried to see right when she does it if she shows any signs of pain, but she doesn't. Lisa read somewhere that older cats can develop a form of Kitty Alzheimers. So that is our best guess as to what is going on with her. But when she does it several times a day, it starts to get on your nerves. She is one old Kitty though. I think the vet said she is the equivalent of approx. 74-78 years old in people-years based on her age and weight.
Well, that is all I will rant and rave about for today. Again, the babies are fine. They're happy, and that makes us happy.
