Trying to learn eating from a spoon

We started trying to feed the kids from a spoon again. We posted on the triplet forum (www.tripletconnection.com) asking for suggestions on how to handle introducing food via a spoon with three little ones at one time. We decided to use one person's advice to strip them down to their diapers and not bother with bibs at all (one problem we had was them grabbing their own bibs). For the time being, we're also using their Bumbo seats since they dont quite sit straight up on their own yet. Jonathan likes to try to grab for the spoon and does okay. Lydia does really well, and opens her mouth up good. Anna is a different story. Sometimes she tries to reject the spoon with her tounge. Even when she doesn't, she sometimes tries to spit the food out. Although she does seem to like the cereal better than the Apple Sauce.
We took them into the doctors office this morning to get their second flu shot for this year. They say studies show that children under 3 have improved resistance if they get a second shot one month after the first one.
We think we're as ready for Christmas as we can be, except for stocking up on the food we'll need. I'll be driving up to Bradford to pickup Grandma Johnson on Wednesday. And Uncle Eric will take the bus from Allentown to Harrisburg on friday.
I'll try to load up pictures for this month close to New Year's, so check back around then or shortly after the first of the year to see them.
