Aunt Debbie brought Grandma and Pappy DeArment out for a visit today for a couple of hours.  And it was Christmas all over again.  Aunt Debbie brought presents from her family and from Aunt Bobbie's family too.

Daddy started opening the bigger packages from Aunt Bobbie, and all three babies were really focused on watching the wrapping being torn off and wondering what this was all about.  From Aunt Bobbie, they each got a new outfit, their own blankey, and their own piggy-banks with a little something already deposited inside.  Aunt Debbie got them each a new outfit and a little piano by Leap Frog to play with.  They all seemed interested in the new piano.

Grandma picked up Jonathan, and based on feeling his weight and seeing his four teeth said that she think's he'll be eating steaks in no time!  Anna didn't really show off at first.  But once Daddy brought Ms. Harley downstairs, Anna did her typcial laugh at the Kitty routine where she gets up on all fours, rocks back-and-forth, and then tries to crawl as best as she can do trying to get close to the Kitty.  Lydia didn't really show off, but I think she enjoyed having people here to play with her.

UPDATE on their spoon feeding:  Back when they started trying spoon feeding again, we originally were concerned about Anna because she kept rejecting the spoon with her mouth.  Well things have definitely changed.  Anna is not the easiest to feed by spoon as she's decided she really likes it.  Jonathan does okay, but likes to put the bib in his mouth in between spoonfuls.  Lydia was a little stinker for a couple of days because she would try to immediately put her thumb in her mouth 1/2 second after we would remove the spoon.  And she would not always want to take it back out to take anothe spoonful.  The last three days she's been better about not doing that, but Anna is still better at opening wide and taking the food.
