The babies have had colds for about a week now.  It started with Lydia having a runny nose, and within two days Anna and Jonathan had it too.  Since none of them had any fevers, we decided to use a decongestant that did not have Tylenol in it.  By Tuesday, Jonathan started eating less than normal and was becoming crankier by the minute.  By Wednesday, we were concerned enough that we decided to have the pediatrician look at him.  His temperature was fine, his lungs sounded fine, and he did not have any ear infection.  So the doctor said all he should need is the Tylenol-based cold medicine and he should start feeling better.  Within two doses of the medicine, he did start to feel better and eat normal again.  Oh, and they weighed him while he was there...Jonathan is now 18 lbs!  Today (Saturday) Lydia seems like she is over it, but Jonathan and Anna still seem to have some congestion.  But their all eating good again.

Early in the week, Lisa started feeling a little run down and wasn't sure if her throat was getting sore.  A day or two later, I ended up with a runny nose.  Lisa never did get full-blown sick, but I sure did.  With taking DayQuil, I feel okay during the day.  But by night-time I really feel wore out.

Anna was the first one to do any sort of crawling.  In this past week, she seems to have perfected it.  She get's really excited any time she sees one of the kitties.  Well when she decides she wants to see one of the kitties, she can really crawl fast to try and get close to them.  She has also been pulling herself up on stuff so that she is standing on her knees.  She also, just once, pulled up using one of the toy baskets such that she was standing on her tippy-toes while holding the basket.  She really looked scared when she did it, as she didn't know what to do next!

Jonathan only recently started any crawling, and this week he is getting better at it.  He does not have the speed of Anna.  But when he decided he wants to get somewhere, he does.  He also started sitting up on his own now.  One day during the week, Lisa was playing with them.  She was focusing on one of the girls when she looked over to find Jonathan sitting up.  She didn't get to see him in the process of doing it that first time, but he did it.  He had done it a few more times since then too, but it's not regular yet.

Lydia hadn't been crawling or really trying at all before.  Last week she seemed to be studying Anna every time she saw Anna crawling.  Well this week she has been really trying it, and is starting to catch on.
