The babies seem to be over their cold, and Daddy is only slightly stuffy yet.

Jonathan is becoming the master at sitting up.  We find him sitting up to play with toys, and sometime sitting up in his crib in the mornings before we feed him.  Anna doesn't really sit up on her rump, but she loves to sit on her knees while holding onto the top rim of the baskets that have their toys in or the rails of her crib.  Lydia isn't quite ready for either of those yet, as she still needs to perfect crawling.

They have their next doctor's visit this coming tuesday afternoon.  Daddy has monday off (President's Day), but they couldn't get us in.  So he has to take 2 hours vacation time to take them in.

What a terrible week it has been weather-wise.  The storm that came through started off with several inches of snow, but changed to sleet/freezing rain for most of the overnight hours Tuesday into Wednesday.  As we have the Ford Explorer and Daddy's work is only three miles away, Daddy still ventured into work Wednesday.  He was one of about 5 people in his department, and most of the rest of the building was empty.  Without the 4x4 and ground-clearance of the Explorer, Daddy would never have made it (or even bothered to attempt it).  In hind-sight, maybe it would have been better to not have went in.  As the temperatures stayed well below 32, it was almost impossible to clear the driveway or sidewalks.  The sleet/freezing rain turned the snow into a 3-inch thick layer of ice/snow.  It took almost three hours to clear just one lane in the driveway, and we were unable to clear the rest or do anything with the sidewalks at all.  Then as they plowed on thursday, there was a nice 3-foot high mound of ice/snow bricks blocking the driveway when Daddy came home.  That took about another 90 minutes to clear up.

That's about all for right now.  We'll post something Tuesday night after their doctor's visit.
