Not a good week (for daddy)

This was not a good week for daddy.  On Thursday daddy was layed off from his job!  Two other people, another programmer and a technical writer, were also part of the layoff.  The reason was the company is just not making enough new sales to sustain the current staffing levels.

So the job search begins in earnest.  We know another couple in York with triplets, and the father's company has an opening.  So he submitted Jim's resume, and he should have an interview with them next Thursday.  There is also an opening at York Hospital right now.  The laboratory director's son is one of the managers in I.T., so Lisa was able to get his contact information.  It can be tough to find a job that is in the York area for I.T., but that is the goal.  The next best alternative would be something in the Harrisburg or Lancaster areas.  And the last choice is to drive across the border to Baltimore again.

In baby news, Lydia is now regulary kneeling on her knees to sit upright.  She still hasn't figured out how to sit on her behind like her siblings.  Jonathan is trying to stand up more and more.  In fact, earlier this week he stood up while in his crib for the first time.  It was weird to see him standing there with his head ABOVE the top railing, all smiles of course.  Anna hasn't really done too much new this past week.

Today is Lisa's birthday.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY Mommy!!!

Noah's 1 year appointment well also. He is just behind Jonathan at 20lbs 5oz and 28.3in tall. The doctors noticed bumps on his gums where his molars will soon be breaking through. Bryan and I were very excited to see everyone at the party and had a good time. We'll have to send you some great pictures we got when we develop them. It's amazing how fast the first year went... Good luck and hope to see you again soon
