11 months

The babies reached 11 months old yesterday. Time really does seem to be flying. All three still really enjoy when we let them roam the entire downstairs after their naps everyday. We know that their eye-sight is good, because all three will notice when one of the kitties comes up to the gate and looks into their playroom or even just is passing by.
Since Daddy got laid off, Mommy has been picking up extra hours. Unfortunately one of the days she was heading in, a piece of wood flew out of the back of a York Waste truck and hit the car. Mommy was uninjured. But there is now a nice dent in the hood of the car. Allstate gave us a check for the estimated repairs. Now its just a matter of deciding when the best time is to have it fixed.
Daddy had an interview on Thursday. It seemed to go well. The job is interesting, and the benefits are good. The only down-side was the pay was much lower than what daddy was making. But since the place can be flexible about the work hours, it still might be better than someplace that pays more but would require being on-site everyday until 5 p.m. If that happened, Lisa would loose her Friday hours completely. At this place, they could let daddy leave by 2 p.m., which would allow Lisa to not loose Friday's completely. They said they would make a decision by Friday or Monday. We didn't hear anything Friday, so hopefully we'll here one way or the other on Monday. It turns out at least one person daddy worked with at the bank works there, and a lady he worked with at the Bon-Ton (10 years ago) works there too.
If that position should not turn out, several recruiters in Harrisburg have opportunities in the Harrisburg area where daddy could possibly be placed almost immediately. If that is what we have to do, so be it. But the goal is to try to have something in York if at all possible. One recruiter said the pay would be about the same as daddy was making or possibly a little higher.
Ducks! Yesterday while the babies were taking their nap, daddy looked out the window to find two ducks roaming around in the front yard. One was brown (female) and the other was the type with a green head and black & white feathers (male). They waddled around for awhile. This time of year, they might have been looking for a nice bush for the female to lay her eggs.
More triplets! We met a couple through a triplet forum online last year. They were moving to York because of him taking a job here (actually at the place daddy interviewed at...he is how daddy got the interview). She gave birth to their boys in January, and they have a daughter that will turn 5 soon. We finally got to go to their house and meet all of them in person on Wednesday night. They are really nice people, their boys seem so tiny compared to our trio, and their house was really cute. We hope to start hanging out with them more often.
That's it for now. Next week the March photos will be posted.
