New car seats

We ordered and received the kids next car seats this week. By the specifications, kids should be in an infant car seat until they are at least 1 year old AND reach 20 lbs. Since Jonathan has already met those guidelines and because his long legs were getting too long for the current car seats, we got the next set. After much research, we stuck with the Graco brand. We found a seat that has the 5-point harness to be used when they are smaller and has the setup for using the seatbelts when they get old. The 5-point harness is rated for kids 20 - 40 lbs, and the seatbelt can be used from 30 - 100 lbs. So hopefully these seats should last us for some time now. Since Anna and Lydia are still light-weights, they will continue to use their infant seats until they gain more weight.
Lydia finally stood up while in her crib this week. And she does seem to be able to get back down from standing (she used to lock her knees and not know how to last week).
One night while mommy was at work, daddy decided to take Jonathan out of the playroom and give him more practice with the walker. He seemed to do better than he's done in the past. Once he decided he was done walking, he started trying to climb the steps! He was holding onto the railing along the side, and used it help pull himself up to the third step. He wasn't really interested in going further up. He was actually standing up holding the railing post and looking out into the front room.
We haven't noticed any new teeth poking through for Anna, but she has been sucking on her shirt this week like Jonathan likes to do. So we wonder if another tooth is coming. But none of them has been getting any new teeth for about two weeks now. Last Sunday when mommy was leaving for work and said "bye-bye" to them, Anna actually said "bye-bye" back. She only did it once, and would not repeat it though.
