The kiddos had their 15 month doctors visit on the 31st. The doctor continues to be pleased with their overall development. And he somehow picked out that Lydia seems to be the one that others seem to take to. While in the waiting area before going back in, Anna was actually all smiles. Boy did that change once she was in the exam room with strangers, wearing nothing but a diaper, and being poked and proded. Her and Lydia cried just from being examined. Jonathan saved his crying for once he received his shots. Here are this times stats:
Jonathan: 23 lbs, 8 oz; 30.25 inches tall
Anna: 19 lbs, 3 oz; 30 inches tall
Lydia: 18 lbs, 12 oz; 29 inches tall
We're still working on trying to walk. None of them are trying to take steps without holding on yet. Last week Jonathan was holding onto the couch when he decided to let go. He stood there for almost a minute without holding onto anything, before he got down on floor again. When trying to hold their hands and walk backwards in front of them, Anna seems to have the best technique of the three. Since Lydia was behind the other two in crawling and pulling up, we're not surprised that her technique is not good yet.
The other day Lydia started flipping a pillow that was on the floor end-over-end. Today, all of them were doing it. They are really good at copying each other sometimes. Mommy tried some scrambled eggs with them yesterday morning. They tried that once before but didn't like it at all. This time they did much better at it.
