Even though Jonathan was the first one to start standing up, it's going to be a horse race between the girls for who will walk first.  They both started standing up by themselves without holding onto anything (Jonathan has done that before, but hasn't done it much in the last week).  And as soon as Lydia stands up, Anna decides to copy her.  Jonathan doesn't even pay much attention to them when they do, so we're not holding our breaths for him to copy the girls.

Lydia is the first one to regularly try to say a word and understand why/how she is using it.  We used to try to work on "bye-bye" when mommy would leave for work.  Since they didn't seem to catch on, we started trying "Hi".  In the last couple of days, Lydia has been saying it.  Sometime repeatedly to practice.  This morning she said hi to daddy when he entered the room to get them dressed for the day.  And she said it to mommy when she came downstairs too.

Our holiday consisted of going to a fast-food drive-thru for something to eat, getting gas, and then taking a short ride before mommy had to go in to work.
