As of this past Wednesday, we officially have one of the trio walking.  Any guesses?  It's Anna.  She started walking from where the living room and kitchen meet into the kitchen, walked around the island twice, turned around, walked around the island the other direction, and then fell only because she tripped on big brothers big foot.

What we suspected about Anna's crankiness on vacation being partly from teething is now confirmed.  Unlike Jonathan and Lydia, Anna only has two of her front teeth on the bottom jaw ( the other had four lower front teeth for a few months now).  The tooth on the right side is just starting to poke through the gums.

One of the stuffed animals Aunt Sue and Dave gave them on vacation was a stuffed Bert.  Especially since we've come home, Lydia is now really attached to Bert.  Sue had previously given them an Ernie too.  So we gave her Ernie to she has a preference.  She like Ernie too, but Bert still seems to be the favorite.

Starting with Lydia using Bert, we are teaching them their body parts.  Lydia liked to touch Bert's nose.  So trying to teach her about nose's was easy.  The other day Daddy was using Bert and himself to teach all three of them about ears.
