Happy Easter, Good Friday not so good though

We didn't get too much for the kids for Easter, as they really don't understand too much about holidays and such yet.  We got them one big stuffed bunny, and their own individual small bunnies wearing cute sweaters.  They also each have a chocolate bunny.  Next year they will be able to appreciate having Easter Baskets, egg hunts, and the like.

Good Friday wasn't so good, though.  Early last week Lydia had a runny nose, and we knew it was a matter of time for the other two.  But Jonathan didn't just get a runny nose.  He also started coughing and breathing irregular, just like before Christmas.  So we decided Thursday night that Jonathan would probably see the doctor on Friday.  Anna seemed sick enough Friday morning that we decided they should both go in.  So when we got a noon appointment, Daddy left work at 11:00 a.m. to come home and help get them in.  The doctor thought Anna was okay enough to just have Tylenol for her fever.  But Jonathan ended up going in for an X-Ray again.  This time they did spot a small amount of pneumonia in one of his lungs.  But like last time, they only put him on antibiotics.  He is still coughing some, but seems to be feeling a little better than on Friday.

The one therapist that comes to work with and evaluate them has been bringing a scale with her.  According to her scale, Jonathan is 28 lbs., Lydia is 24 lbs., and Anna 23 lbs.  We're a little confused because it feels like there is more than one pound difference between the girls.  Lydia feels hefty, and Anna feels like a rag-doll.

The one therapist is pleased with Lydia's verbal skills.  Her regular words are: no, ball, thank you, bear, bunny, butterfly (comes out "baa-fwy"), cat, star, car, cheese, moo.  Sometimes horsie and she tries frog.  Anna is really good a no, thank you, okay, cheese, and bunny.  Jonathan is good at no, and sometimes thank you and cheese.  Jonathan has been babbling a lot lately, though.  So he definitely has something to say.  He just hasn't figured out how to say it yet.

We have some money the kids got for Christmas and Easter.  We're going to use that money towards getting some kind of play set for the back yard that they can climb all over.
